KURE2013 attending its first of 2 meetings in Missouri, the Liberty Club with President, Deb Jones, and Host Karen Jones and Kiwanis Governor, Gary Goebel. Quite an exciting group in the "show me" state. Thanks for all the support and sponsorship.
My second meeting in Missouri, KURE'S 40th state visited and 46th meeting, at the Independence Club. President Dan Montgomery was a wonderful leader and thanks for inviting me to talk about Kiwanis. Also there, was my cousin, Toni Chiarico-Kips and her husband Randy - thanks for all the help

As I start my 10th week on the road and get ready to visit my 40th state, my visit to Iowa and the Town & Country Kiwanis in Ames, Iowa was just the best - lots of fellow Bikers, all very supportive of the KURE2013 ride, and two of the best hosts a lonely Kiwanian biker could ask for - Jodi and Joe Melcher and Don and Sue Seaton. Jodi is the club President and I may just see the Seatins again somewherr between Manden, North Dakota and Missoula, Montana. Great socials and who knew balogna went with sweet corn!
Fellow Kiwanian bikers at Ames, Iowa Kiwanian meeting, all looking for the horizon!
The Sweet Corn and Balogna crew at the Seaton compound, where there be tractors by the 2s. President Jodi and hubby Joe were there, as was Biker Bob and his biker babe, Mary Ann. Good time. Bob, see you at Sturgess, if they let BMWs in.
Don Seaton and his best friends - real tractors. I urged him to turn them in for a BMW GTL1600. He says he will ask Sue when she gets home from the Harley Davidson rally!! Thanks again for a great time.
My buddy, Wayne at the Heathers Manor Retirement home in Crystal, Minnesota. Thanks, Stacy, for inviting me to share dinner with Wayne, a thoroughly interesting and delightful gentleman. We also got to watch Iron Man I together and I told him all the good parts before they happen!! Now in Iowa catching up on some "me time".
NEWS BULLETIN: the KURE2013 ride has just broken 9000 miles - we are at 9195 miles riden which means 2005 left to break the record. Piece of crum cake. That guy from India is going down!
A fiesty crew met me at the North Hennipen Kiwanis Club meeting in Minniapolis, Minnesota, led by the fiestiest President I have ever seen, Stacy Ondov - she is the activities director at The Heathers Retirememt Home and she does everything to help this club be a leader in its support of the Eliminate Project. Thanks Stacy for helping this travelling Kiwanian and introducing me to Wayne. Great group. Exhausted, I am spending the night at the home, just to test it out, then up early to get to Ames, Iowa for a weekend of activities. Thanks again, Minnesota.
Now, the KUREmobile set free with some of the most gorgeous weather yet, outside Eau Claire, Wisconsin, heading to Kiwanis meeting outside the Twin Cities.
The KUREmobile sidelined short of its planned camping spot by a sudden and fierce storm in Tomah, Wisconsin. Bummer.
A very interesting meeting with the Wisconsin Kiwanis Club of Waukesha Noon, with President Sue Bothif. Thanks also to my host, Richard Ettinger. Yes, by thebway, I will pick up some cheese!!
The only Kiwanis Club in the nation that I am aware that has not one, not two, but three Circuit Court Judges. Here are Your Honors Michael Bohren, Pat Haughney, and Jennifer Dorolo. Thanks for sharing some time at your meeting.
